PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a sentence into another sentence of a different degree of courteousness, tone and tense by decomposing the words and phrases of the sentence in every word and converting and integrating these words and phrases into those which are adaptive to a designated sentence form. SOLUTION: The form of a converted sentence is designated by an input part 1 and sent to a sentence form storage part 6 to be stored there. An inputted original sentence is sent to a word/phrase decomposition part 2 and divided into words and phrases via the morpheme analysis. These words and phrases are recognized in every word based on a word/phrase discrimination dictionary of a word/phrase discrimination dictionary part 7. A word/phrase discrimination part 3 converts the word character string sent from the part 2 in every word and phrase via a relative word/phrase dictionary part 8, so that the character string is adaptive to the document form that is stored in the part 6. A word/ phrase integration part 4 integrates the converted word characters sent from the part 3 into a new sentence and sends this sentence to a display part 5 to show it there. Thus, a new sentence that is adaptive to a designated form can be produced in the least number of input operations. |
