PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check whether registers corresponding to peripheral facility parts of a microcomputer are normally initialized or not by once executing a program. SOLUTION: Initial setting data to be set to peripheral facility parts registers corresponding to peripheral facility parts are stored in an initial setting data memory 14. A comparator 16 compares write data which are to be written to the peripheral facility parts register by the program under executing with the initial setting data in accordance with the instruction of a comparison control flag 18 when a flag corresponding to the address of the peripheral facility parts register to be checked is raised. If they are equal a real-time trace memory 20 stores the address assigned to the peripheral facility parts register and the write data. |
