<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to electrically and, moreover, automatically carry out inspection of an active matrix which has been visually performed by displaying test pattern up to now, by supplying to a second common terminal through a switching element according to a control signal from a first common terminal. SOLUTION: A test circuit 283 is added to a source line, and a test circuit 288 is added to a gate line. And, during a test operation of a source line drive circuit, a test circuit 283 is kept on by a control of a terminal 284. In this state, a prescribed test signal is inputted to a video signal bus terminal 281, and then, a shift register is scanned. Further, when a gate line drive circuit is tested, a shift register 287 is scanned in the state that a prescribed test signal is inputted to a terminal 289. At this time, if a signal within a specification is outputted in time series, then, the circuit is judged as satisfactory. Otherwise, it is judged as unsatisfactory.</p> |
