摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of removing water quality pollutants and the enable the improvement of COD treatment efficiency by adding polyacrylic acid and divalent or trivalent metal salt into an activated sludge suspension tank and generating water-insoluble metal polyacrylate in the tank. SOLUTION: In drainage treatment using activated sludge, polyacrylic acid and divalent or trivalent metal salt are added into an activated sludge suspension tank to generate water-insoluble metal polyacrylate in the tank. The polycrylic acid is a polymer given by a formula, where (m), (n) are 1 or grater integers and expressed by 5000>(m+n)>2, and 100>m/n>0.1. The divalent or trivalent metal of the salt is selected from a group consisting of magnesium, calcium, barium, aluminum, and iron, and the divalent metal salt is selected from a group consisting of magnesium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide, and magnesium sulfate.</p>
