<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed and high-acuracy position detector whose position indicator is not connected to any part and operability is satisfactory. SOLUTION: A selection circuit 20 selects any one loop coil out of loop coils from 11-1 to 11-48 provided side by side in the direction of the arrow and by applying a prescribed AC signal from a transmission circuit 40 through a connection switching circuit 30 to the loop coil, a radio wave is generated. This radio wave is received by a turning circuit 61 of a position indicator 60 for performing position designation and with the reflected ratio wave, a reception circuit 50 detects a received signal induced at the loop coil among the loop coils from 11-1 to 11-48 through the selection circuit 20 and the connection switching circuit 30. This operation is repeated for the respective loop coils and a processor 70 calculates the coordinate value at the indicated position in the direction of the arrow.</p> |
