PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calender treating device capable of lessening partial adhesion (powder dislodging) of a magnetic layer under a calender treatment to heating rolls. SOLUTION: The chrome plating applied on the surfaces of the heating rolls 3a to 3d of this device 1 is impregnated with polytetrafluoroethylene. As a result, a phenomenon known as the powder dislodging that the magnetic layer partly adheres and deposits on the roll surfaces of the heating rolls 3a to 3d is lessened at the time of subjecting the magnetic tape 2 to the calender treatment by passing the magnetic tape between the heating rolls 3a to 3d and resin rolls 4a to 4c in such a manner that the magnetic surface 6 of the magnetic tape 2 comes into contact with the heating rolls 3a to 3d. |
