The cleaning composition is in tablet form and includes an acidic component selected from the group consisting of carboxylic acids, their salts and mixtures thereof; a basic component selected from the group consisting of alkali metal carbonates, alkali metal bicarbonates and mixtures thereof; and polyvinyl alcohol. |
