A glass frame is equipped with a decorative shape, which cannot be obtained by conventional means, at a front portion of the glass frame and on the front side of the temple. A metal hollow component (1a) is provided to the front portion of the glass frame including an armor (2), a rim (3) and a bridge (4), and this metal hollow component (1a) is equipped with a decorative pattern (11) on the peripheral surface thereof. When the decorative pattern is an openwork pattern to further improve decorativeness, a component (5) made of a resin, cloisonne, etc., is fitted into a hollow hole of the hollow component (1a). The hollow component (1a) can be disposed to the entire portion, or a part, of the armor, the rim and the bridge, and may also be disposed on the front side of the temple. |
