ÄObjectÜ To provide a polyester resin composition mainly for use as a coating resin for a metal can, which can be extrusion laminated directly on a metal plate, sufficiently withstands severe conditions in can formation, drying, and printing steps, and exhibits satisfactory flavor properties; a film, and a laminate. ÄConstitutionÜ A polyester resin composition comprising (1) a polyester comprising ethylene terephthalate as a main component, having a melting point of not lower than 220 DEG C, and containing a polyfunctional compound, (2) a copolyester comprising butylene terephthalate as a main component and having a melting point of 150 to 210 DEG C and a glass transition temperature of not higher than 20 DEG C, and (3) an hindered phenol organic compound and/or tocopherol; polyester comprising ethylene terephthalate as a main component, having a melting point of not lower than 220 DEG C, containing a polyfunctional compound, and having a die swell ratio of not less than 1.3 as measured at (the melting point + 40 DEG C); copolyester comprising butylene terephthalate as a main component, having a melting point of 150 to 210 DEG C and a glass transition temperature of not higher than 20 DEG C, and having a free TPA content of not more than 20 ppm; and films or polyester/metal laminates made of the polyethylene terephthalate resin or polyester resin composition. |
