PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flaw detection apparatus suitable for pipes with different diameters. SOLUTION: A movable body 1, which is conventionally one united body, is divided into a first to a third movable bodies 7, 8, 15 and a motor 10a to be moved along a guide rail 2 and an encoder 9 for position detection are mounted in the first movable body 7 and a motor 10b and an encoder 9b for position detection are mounted on the second movable body 8; and the motor 10b drives a probe 5 and a pressing mechanism 6 of the probe 5 along the axial direction of a pipeline 1 along probe arms 4a, 4b. The probe arm 4a, 4b, the probe 5, and the pressing mechanism 6 of the probe 5 are mounted on the third movable body 5 and while the third movable body 15 being set at the center, the first and the second movable bodies 7, 8 are joined to both sides of the third movable body 15 through pins 12a, 12b in a manner turnable on the diameter direction. Consequently, the apparatus can be corresponding to the diameter of the pipeline and the apparatus installation height from the pipe face is set to be a prescribed value or lower and without causing interference with a neighboring pipe, ultrasonic flaw detection can be carried out. |
