PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the operation of a succeeding user from being interrupted even when a recording medium for a preceding user is left without being taken out and to prevent a recording medium from being lost by carrying and storing a recording medium in a storing part arranged on a position different from a reading insertion part when the recording medium is not ejected from the inserting part before the lapse of set time after return timing. SOLUTION: When a magnetic card 30 is not drawn out even after the lapse of set time and a card detection sensor 31c detects the existence of the card 30, a carrying roller 31a is driven and the card 30 is sent to the inside of an operation box 24 and dropped into a storing container 32. Although the set time is set up to about several tens sec, the time can be optionally changed. After carrying the card 30 to the container 32, a card storing lamp 34 arranged on the side of a reader 31 is turned on to wait the insertion of a succeeding magnetic card 3O. The magnetic card 30 stored in the container 32 can be taken out by unlocking a lock mechanism 33 by a key. |
