Vertical space machine

The vertical space machine has a machine stand (3) that has cross-heads (4) situated above it, as well as a lifting slide (7). The lower half of the slide has an organised feeding carriage (8), and a hub-spindle (19) sharing a common plain with its mid-length axle (20). The spindle is arranged such that its spindle gear (22) is in a rotation-drive connection. One upper space-work tool holder is present on, at least, one of the cross-heads. The hub-spindle may not be rotatable relative to a cross-head and the lifting slide, and be supported off a rotation-driveable spindle mother (21).
