Polyether ketone reinforced elastomer composite, useful as compensator

A composite comprising a polyetherketone (PEK) reinforcing structure coated with an adhesion promoting agent and a non-cross-linked elastomeric matrix, contains an aqueous chlorine bleach solution with a chlorine content of 8-15 g/l as the adhesion promoting substance. Also claimed are (i) preparation of the composites; and (ii) PEK reinforcing structures coated with the above adhesion promoting agent for elastomer composites.
