Reproduction of multiple camera angle digital data from video disc

The digital video disc data is received by an input stage 201 that separates the video and audio signals which are processed 208,202. The video signals are decoded 203 and are also received by a microcomputer 210 that determines, from the information, if the disc has multiple camera recording angle data. If so, a routine is executed to format the video data and generate an output to the video selection stage. The processed outputs are fed to a video synthesiser 205 and an output coding stage 207. The method may include decoding at least a part of the received data by the digital processing stage.
