摘要 The method involves distributing carriers which are allocated to a multi carrier signal to several blocks of equal length (l). Each symbol of a one-dimensional or a two-dimensional symbol set which modulates each carrier of the multi carrier signal (QAM) is allocated to a m-digit number. The symbol numbers of each carrier are written in blocks in a m*l matrix. At least one blank space is generated in each matrix. Each row with a blank space is completed. A sequence of words of length l which are superimposed with the completed rows of each matrix are selected to minimise the peak power of the multi carrier signal in the time domain referred to the average signal power. The carriers are modulated with the coded symbols and transformed using the inverse discrete Fourier transformation. The modulated multi carrier signal is sent. The superimposed words are removed from the received multi carrier signal.
