The method involves projecting a jet of liquid on to the ground or water surface from a metal nozzle or one with metallic parts. The metallic components provide an electrical connection to the liquid jet for transmitting electric currents or potential for measuring ground or water parameters. The liquid can be water lightly salted to increase its conductivity and achieve greater measurement accuracy.
