Clamp for use with pipes

The pipe clamp is closed by a screw (10), which is secured by a nut (11). The clamp has a housing-shaped securing element (12) with slide aperture (13). The element is pushed on the second end (8) of the clamp body, to cover and fix the nut. The front wall (14) of the element facing the first clamp end, has a long bore (15). This extends to the slide aperture, so that the element can be pushed onto the clamp end, even after the screw has been fastened to the nut. The end of the screw extends through an aperture (17) in the end wall (16). The securing element has a groove-like aperture (19) to locate the nut.
