Flame retardant moulding materials for liquid crystal back-lights

Flame retardant polycarbonate compositions (P1) comprising(A) polycarbonate resins and (B) titania powder in a weight ratio of 70-90:10-30 contain 1-1000 ppm by weight stilbene-bisbenzoxazole derivative (C), with respect to the sum of (A) and (B). Also claimed are (i) similar flame retardant polycarbonate compositions (P2) also containing 0.05-1 wt.% (with respect to phosphorous) halogen-free phosphate compound (D), relative to the sum of (A) and (B), (ii) flame retardant polycarbonate compositions (P3) comprising 70-99.9 wt.% (A), 1-30 wt.% (B) and 0.05-100 ppm by weight (D), with respect to 100 parts by weight of (A) and (B), (iii) light reflectors moulded from (P1)-(P3) and (iv) reflectors for liquid crystal backlights moulded from (P3).
