Game-bird plucking assembly has star-shaped feather removers

An assembly to pluck game birds comprises: (a) a tubular housing (1) to the end of which is fitted a bag (3) (to collect feathers) which is removed when full for replacement by an empty bag; (b) a plucking assembly installed within the tubular housing (1), consisting in sequence of a motor (2) whose axle drives the plucking unit (5), and with an air inlet (4) and an outlet (4') surrendering feathers to the bag (3); and (c) the plucking assembly (5) consists of numerous star-like flexible spikes (51) arranged at different angles around the motor (2) output shaft axis, and a series of vertical rods (6) forming a fence between the motor (2) and spikes (51).
