The invention relates to a radial piston pump with a housing (8) to accept a pump piston (1) and a pump drive consisting of an electric motor (11), the drive shaft (13) of which has a crank or eccentric pin (5) projecting into a housing aperture (2), where the crank or eccentric pin (5) preferably bears a roller bearing (6) on which the pump piston rests. A pressure medium leak from the pump piston (1) is taken by gravity or centrifugal force into at least one catchment chamber (3) bordering the housing aperture (2) and/or into at least one channel (4) connected to the housing aperture (2).
