The threshing/separating and/or cleaning unit is associated with a device such as a suction blower (13) and/or pressure blower which produces an air stream (16) to remove the non-grain ingredients. The air stream can be produced by a shredder. The device biases an area between the separating and recycling base (12) with the air stream. The non-grain parts are supplied to a collecting container or discharged direct. The air stream is adjustable.
