Bucket for cleaning purposes

The insert plate (8-10) is stood in the bottom of the bucket to form a raised surface over a hollow space in which dirt and debris collects. Movement of the cleaning equipment e.g. cleaning mops, does not disturb the dirt layer and thus keeps the cleaning fluid clean. The surface can be formed by a perforated plate, or by a grid, supported in the bottom of the bucket by at least three feet. Alternately the support surface can be formed by placing several grids over each other. This forms a collecting space between the dividers of the grids. The grids have sloping edge profiles adapted to fit into the outline of the bucket.
