The structure has two or more threads with different pitches and diameters. The threads have variable directions of rotation. At least one thread is pointed, and/or round and/or trapezoidal and/or rectangular. The structures are seamless, polygonal components such as e.g. tubes, and/or cams and/or gearwheels. The threaded spindle is a corrugated tube, a steering column, a slide guide or a conical threaded rod. For producing the threaded spindle, a reforming tool is used with an inner wall, particularly for road vehicles. The form has different structures in an axial direction of the inner walls, corresponding to the threaded spindle being produced.
