A method of detecting human cytochrome P4501A2 (CYPIA2) gene polymorphism, whereby the 2,064th base replacement, the 2,640th base replacement and/or the -1569th base deletion occurring in the untranslated region of the CYPIA2 gene can be detected. This method permits a new polymorphism of CYHPIA2 genes to be detected by using a reduced amount of a DNA sample conveniently and readily with high sensitivity and accuracy. |
