The present invention refers to an ink for heat-setting carving printing, especially suitable for carving printing of asset documents such as bills, postage stamps, share certificates, bank bills, and the like. The ink comprises: a) an epoxy resin ester which reacts with an unsaturated monobasic acid and a reactive monomer, b) a desiccant and e) a compound obtained by reacting an amine/epoxy adduct with a phenolic resin or a polyhydric phenol compound.
