The pressure ring (16) is provided with a collar (17) for location on the membrane spring (11) of the coupling on the opposite side to the release bearing. An axially directed casing (18) is provided and a connecting ring (20) extends ring-shaped into the interior of the casing. The connecting ring is elastically deformable. At least two peripherally distributed extensions (25) hold between two fingers (19) the pressure ring in relation to the membrane spring. The extensions extend axially and peripherally support an axial holding tongue. The tongue extends at a distance from the outlet edge of the extension to border a recess on the end of the extension. The peripheral lengths of the tongue are at most the same as the width of the slit between the two fingers of the membrane fingers. The peripheral gap between the free end of the tongue and the outlet edge of the extension is greater than the width of the slit.
