Device for the rotary actuation of the rollers in machines for loading/unloading roller-type containers, particularly for ceramic tiles, which comprises a horizontal movable arm 10 which supports a plurality of rotary members 11 suitable for engaging on the ends of the rollers 21 of the container 2, having respective toothed transmission wheels 16; a first transmission chain 31 actuated by a motor, closed in the form of a ring and wound around the supported wheels on the movable arm 10 and having a horizontal branch 31 which runs parallel to the toothed wheels 16; the first chain 31 is not engaged on the toothed wheels 16 of the rotary members 11 and the device comprises a second transmission chamber 37 with an open profile, integral with the first chain 31, which is engaged on the toothed wheels 16 of the rotary members 11 when it runs along the said horizontal branch 31'; the chain 37 is not shorter than the length of the layer of tiles and is in a transmission relationship with the rotary members 11 so as to determine a rotation of the rollers, in order to move the tiles at a speed and in a direction which are identical to its own. <IMAGE>
