The sprayer (1) comprises a container containing the odoriferous substance to be sprayed in liquid form or the like and which is closed by a diffusion membrane (3c), and means for rotating the container on itself. The container comprises several compartments that enable the distribution of the odoriferous substance weight on the periphery of the container rotation axis (DD). In a preferred embodiment, the container comprises at least a ring-shaped housing (3) centred on the rotation axis of the container, and partitioned off in several identical compartments (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, 5e, 5f).
