<p>A process for the preparation of a solid epoxy resin by applying a shear to a liquid or pasty crystalline epoxy resin at a temperature lower than the melting point of the resin by at least 10 °C to thereby solidify the resin, which makes it possible to prepare industrially advantageously a crystalline low-viscosity epoxy resin that is solid at ordinary temperatures and so is excellent in handleability and workability and that exhibits an extremely low viscosity in a molten state and so is excellent in moldability.</p> |
