<p>There is disclosed an efficient process for producing alpha -ketoacetamide of the formula: <CHEM> which is useful as an intermediate for the production of various alkoxyiminoacetamide compounds to be used for agricultural fungicides. In this process, a corresponding acid halide is condensed with isocyanide to produced the alpha -ketoacetamide.</p> |
