Novel compounds of the general formula (I) in which R in position 3 or 4 represents hydrogen, methyl, chlorine or bromine and R<2> is C1-C10-alkyl, C3-C7-cycloalkyl or benzyl, and their pharmaceutically tolerable addition salts with weak organic acids and a process for their preparation are described. The compounds of the formula (I) are thromboxane synthetase inhibitors.
