The invention relates to a stepping switch for an adjustabletransformer (1), preferably adjustable transformer having castresin insulation consisting of monophase identical modules (3.1,3.2, 3.3) each of which has all the necessary means forreswitching loads and its own casing which encloses these means.Each module is in connection with an electric motor drive (5) byits own driving shaft (4.1, 4.2, 4.3) and is fitted withoutconnecting wires directly or by a connecting terminal (2.1, 2.2,2.3) to the respective winding leads of a section winding. In thesame geometrical correspondence there are fasteners and electricalconnectors (3.1.1, 3.1.2) which are electrically connected to theinterior of the stepping contacts due for contacting or through ahole in the house, entering the interior, forming the steppingcontacts which are directly due to be contacted.
