The immersion heater is used in the instrumentationengineering for making residential electrical appliances. Itensures protection against any excessive rise of the heatertemperature both in normal operation when being immersed in theliquid fluid being heated and in operation in dry. The heaterincludes a tubular body (1) housing a heating element (2), andend-piece (3) connected to ends (4) of the tubular body and supplycord (12), and a thermostat (5) connected to tubular body (1) bymeans of heat conducting bridge (6) and end-piece (3) by means ofa hollow tube (13). Thermostat (5) is connected to the supplyvoltage (U) by means of a contactless switch (15) controlled bythe thermostat having temperature switching thresholds around theboiling point of the water./!
