The inhalator for dry powder form medicament has an agitator(31) fitted non-concentrically in the blending chamber (25). Theagitator is revolved by a motor at high speed. A plunger (106)introduces a batch of the powder medicament to the chamber so thatall particles of the powder are available for blending, crushingand fracturing. Hole (51) receives an air stream allowing it to goto the mouthpiece for inhalation by the patient. Wall (11) has atleast one hole (59) for diverting part of the main air stream tothe aerosol chamber to be mixed with the particles for theformation of fine dry mist of the powder medicament for inhalationby the patient, having low density and speed.
