Receiving the control of a microcomputer(6), a tuner selects the channel. A intermediate frequency processing part(3) separates an image signal and a sound signal and the image signal is output to a chroma part(4), through which it is displayed at a cathode ray tube(12). While the main picture is displayed at the cathode ray tube(12), the image signal is inputted into the microcomputer from a KBPS decoding part(5) and recognizes the real time, then if it judges it is N minutes before the next program, it operates a PIP tuner(7) and selects each channel once, displaying in the cathode ray tube.
