Improvements for or during cultivation of conifers

There is described a method for generating embryonic conifer callus, which method comprises: cultivating somatic tissue which is capable of growth and is derived from a conifer which has formed a dormant bud, giving rise to a nonembryonic callus, and cultivating the nonembryonic callus in the presence of an embryonic callus in a nutrient culture, thus generating an embryonic callus.
