An interface device for altering the natural pressure distribution of a ski on the gliding surface thereof. The device includes a vertically movable sensor (69) for sensing stress on one portion of the boot sole, and an elongate transmission member with both ends attached to the ski. The device is characterised in that the transmission member is a blade (75) locally provided with an unsupported flexible portion (75a) engaged by the sensor.
