The interactive information terminal provides three-dimensional image data with sound. It is housed in a cabinet (1) with a giant screen or map of a town (3). A touch sensitive screen (4) provides direct interaction with the giant screen. The terminal has the upper section projecting beyond its lower section. The tactile screen is slightly inclined relative to its support. A sliding door at the back of the terminal cabinet provides access to the components. Consumables are replenished through an opening with a covering grille, which also acts as an inlet for cooling air. The cabinet is fixed to a block of concrete.
