The engine has a rotor (100) driving a shaft (200) inside a stator (300). The motor shaft is offset w.r.t. the centre of the stator and driven for rotation by a crank (400) with branches (410,420,430,440) spaced around the stator. The free ends of the crank arms carry pistons (510,520,530,540) which are mounted to pivot parallel to the axis of the rotor, each sliding in a liner (610,620,630,640) continuously during rotation of the rotor. The liners slide along the inner wall face of the stator. The stator is pierced with holes (320,330,340,350,360,370,380) opening into the liners and arranged angularly to allow charging combustion and exhaust cycles.
