The heater for ambient air directly in the burner of a wood burning stove has a heating section and three superposed modules (5,2,13) each of tubular construction angled (4,1,12) and open for the circulation of air to be heated. The tubes are positioned in the burner spaced from the walls and open at their ends to the exterior of the stove. The stove can have a grill (5).
