<p>The invention discloses an electronic key comprising, mounted in a key body, a key shank to be inserted in a corresponding housing of a lock cylinder to unlock it, the cylinder having one stator part and one rotor part integral with a rotating and comprising first mechanical means and first electronic means and the key comprising second mechanical means and second electronic means to co-operate with the corresponding first means of the cylinder when the key is completely inserted in the cylinder to unlock it when an identity enters a key identification code and a corresponding lock code is checked. The power supply for the key electronic means (16, 18, 20) is provided by an autonomous means for generating energy (14) which is actuated by simply displacing the key shank in the key body.</p> |
