<p>The present invention relates to a radiating gas burner having a burner nozzle in the shape of a metallic-felt porous body, wherein said body is made of a refractory heat-resistant alloy having a fully open variable-thickness volume porosity ranging from 90 to 98 %. The average size of the pores along the thickness of the burner nozzle ranges from 50 to 1000 νm and decreases in the direction of the protection lid. Discrete fibres extend above the upper surface at a given angle relative to said lid. The metallic-felt porous body is mounted within a support housing made of a refractory material.</p> |
