<p>PURPOSE:To make images composed of more pixels than those comprising a liquid crystal panel for display and to obtain therewith the images of excellent quality by a method wherein recording of the images on recording media is made in a construction wherein the position of the liquid crystal panel for display against a recording medium is moved and a number of exposures are made on the recording medium with pixel data in accordance with the above-mentioned movement. CONSTITUTION:Pixel data comprising an image are divided by every four pixel data into groups, for instance by such four pixel data that adjoin lengthwise and breadthwise one another. One pixel data is read out of the four pixel data of each of the groups and is displayed on a liquid crystal panel 18, and exposure is made on a recording medium with the data. Then the liquid crystal panel 18 is moved for the recording medium to the position of the adjoining pixel, and a second pixel data is read out of the four pixel data of each of the groups, and is displayed on the liquid crystal panel 18, then the exposure is made on the recording medium with the data. By repeating the above-mentioned process four times, the adjoining four pixel data in each of the groups are read out one after another, and thereby hard copies composed of pixels four times as many as the pixels of the liquid crystal panel can be obtained.</p> |
