<p>PURPOSE:To improve the detection precision and to increase the processing speed by selectively distributing an object inserted from a reception slit to a first passage at the time of discriminating it as a paper money and selectively distributing it to a second passage at the time of discriminating it as a prepaid card. CONSTITUTION:A classification discriminating means 5 which discriminates paper moneys and prepaid cards inserted from a reception slit 2, a first passage 45 which is connected to the reception slit 2 and a paper money storage box 8 having a banknote discriminating device 7, and a second passage 47 which is connected to the reception slit 2 and a card processing device 6 are provided. When the classification discriminating means 5 discriminates the object inserted from the reception slit 3 as a paper money, it is selectively distributed to the first passage 45 by a distributor 52; and when the means 5 discriminates it as a prepaid card, it is selectively distributed to the second passage 47 by the distributor 52. Thus, the detection precision of discrimination processing of paper moneys/prepaid cards is improved and the processing speed is increased.</p> |
