<p>A fuel assembly for a boiling water reactor comprising a plurality of fuel rods (4) extending between a top tie plate (5) and a bottom tie plate (6), and a plurality of elongated tanks (10) which are closed at their lower ends and which, at their upper ends, are provided with means for supplying water to the tanks and for releasing steam formed inside the tanks. The tanks are arranged one after the other in the longitudinal direction of the fuel assembly and with their longitudinal direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the fuel assembly.</p> |
