<p>A new process for the preparation of salts of an organic base and N,N'-diacetylcystine (DiNAC) is described, whereby N-acetylcysteine is oxidised in an aqueous or alcoholic solution in the presence of the organic base, or a salt containing protonated forms of the organic base, and a catalytic amount of an alkali metal hydroxide, whereupon the product is isolated.</p> |
