<p>An X-ray tube is provided with a housing, and an anode and a cathode which are mounted in the housing. The cathode comprises a focusing device, an incandescent wire and a ceramic carrier, which ceramic carrier supports the focusing device and the incandescent wire in the housing. The ceramic carrier is made of a ceramic material with a thermal conductivity of at least 80 W/mK.</p> |
