PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably manufacture an electrode having excellent performance by continuously removing fine particles by use of a filter in the electroless plating of an alkaline battery electrode base body. SOLUTION: The electroless plating of an electrode base is performed by a device having a treatment tank 1 and a management tank 2. A solution is sent from the treatment tank 1 to the management tank 2 by overflow and from the management tank 2 to the treatment tank 1 by a pump 5. A filter 4 is provided in the middle of the pipe 3 from the management tank 2 to the treatment tank 2. A body 7 to be plated consisting of a porous resin such as resin foamed body, resin nonwoven fabric or the like, which is wound on a coil, is set on the supply side, and the electroless plating is continuously performed through a submerged roller 6 while winding the body on the other side. The plating is performed according to such a method, whereby fine particles of Pd and Pd compound adsorbed as catalyst and fine particles of metal and the like in the plating solution, which fell from the porous resin surface, can be continuously removed. |
