PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount an option device on an equipment main body without using a connector-attached cable, etc., by effectively utilizing the housing space of a lid body by forming an opening in the external surface of a lid body corresponding to a display panel surface and providing an option equipment storage part. SOLUTION: The lid body 11 is fitted rotatably to the equipment main body 10. A floppy disk drive pack(FDD pack) storage part 13 for mounting an FDD pack 16 as option equipment is provided by forming a rectangular opening of specific size in the external surface of the lid body 11 corresponding to the reverse surface of a display panel 12 where a display drive circuit is not provided. The lid 15 of the FDD pack storage part 13 is slid to one side and detached from the lid body 11. The FDD pack 16 is slid and set at a fixed position in the FDD pack storage part 13 of the lid body 11. The connector of the FDD pack 16 is coupled with a connector in the FDD pack storage part 13 through a circuit.
