<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlight which can generate a high irradiation light and a low irradiation light, without using an optical light modification means. SOLUTION: A projection type headlight 3 which generates a high irradiation light and a low irradiation light and is applied to the field of a motorcycle and/or an automobile comprises a light source 5, a lens 8, a reflector 6 which reflects the light from the light source to the lens, and a dimmer 2 which can shift the two positions a first position and a second position) within the plane positioned between the light source and the lens. In the first position, the dimmer 2 intercepts a part of the beam and offers a low irradiation light, and in the second position, it lets all beams pass and offers a high irradiation light.</p> |
